RED JAZZ
NKC Project and concert
The NKC Project group is a jazz quartet which was formed on the initiative of a singer, Thierry Camacho.
It pays a vibrant tribute to Nat King Cole who was a brilliant pianist-singer during the 40s and 50s and who is the spiritual father of Diana Krall and Harry Connick Junior.
The quartet also pays tribute to the singers and musicians who also left their mark on the world of jazz in the 1950s. Through standards played at that time, the group revisits music imbued with swing and softness and manages to immerse the listener in a happy atmosphere, to carry him away in a captivating nostalgia from which he will emerge filled with optimism and happiness.
You will be able to hear melodies like “My foolish heart”, “You don't know what love is”, but also emblematic titles like “Route 66” or “My favorite things”, without forgetting a selection of chosen tunes like the legendary “Night and day” or “Bye bye Blackbird”.
