Formed in Montpellier, the Thierry Gautier trio evolves mainly on the compositions of pianist Thierry Gautier and double bassist Abel Dumont whose inspirations extend from American jazz to Latin Jazz via Balkan music and flamenco.

In the classic formula of the simple jazz trio (piano, double bass and drums) Thierry Gautier and his accomplices present innovative, surprising music, skillfully mixing sensitivity, swing, and energy.
