ROUGE JAZZ SWING
Tribute to Nat King Cole
The show
The group "NKC Project" is a jazz quartet which was formed on the initiative of singer Thierry Camacho.
It pays a vibrant tribute to Nat King Cole who was a brilliant pianist-singer during the 40s and 50s and who is the spiritual father of Diana Krall and Harry Connick Junior.
Through the standards performed by this magnificent artist, the group revisits music imbued with swing and softness and manages to immerse the listener in a happy atmosphere, to carry them away in a captivating nostalgia from which they will emerge filled with optimism and happiness.
You will be able to hear melodies like that of Smile or that of The Christmas song, but also emblematic titles from the Nat King Cole Trio period, like Route 66 or Straighten up and fly right, without forgetting a selection of tunes chosen from the legendary After midnight.
So, Come taste the Band !
