BALADI JAZZ PROJECT offers a unique quintet with ancestral and modern rhythms where the instruments dialogue and accompany each other in landscapes that we glimpse. Their music shakes up musical boundaries and invites us to travel.

A fan of world fusion, jazz, modal music, it's a rediscovery of sounds. Music that nourishes the senses.

BALADI draws its strength from its eclecticism, from its astonishing originality, from its poetry. The group benefits from a unique and vibrational creativity. This magic happens through a subtle blend of traditional and modern instruments.

We can appreciate the Oud (oriental lute) the Saz (Turkish lute) the Lap Steel (slide guitar) mixing with the soprano saxophone as well as the Bansuri flute (Indian flute).

They call to each other and agree in an airy and sensitive energy. A game supported and reinforced by a trio of drums, bass and tabla where each develops syncretic sounds with organic magnitudes.

The aim is to catalyze them in the sphere of jazz, improvisation and current music.

The quintet surprises with its musical universe. Proposing an artistic dimension that builds the new products of tomorrow. Where past and future cultures come together and merge.
