Born from the musical and human affinities that unite these two musicians, the duo “Unity” was born in 2018. The group’s repertoire is mainly composed of standards and original compositions. The formation of the piano/trumpet duo is a perilous exercise both in the expression of the melodies and in the rhythmic accompaniment. Julien Bertrand and Pierre Antoine Chaffangeon take up the challenge by offering you a jazz aesthetic halfway between tradition and modernity.

The complicity of these two musicians leads to a meeting, to sound like a single entity, like a unit: Unity Duo.
