The show
Concert-Event: 30 years on stage!
Founded by brothers in body and heart, Amadou, Meissa and Badara M'baye, as true committed artists, Kunta Kinte tirelessly conveys African culture in the South of France.
Modern-day acrobats, the M'baye brothers are often requested by World festivals in France. This is how they had to share stages with eminent artists like Manu Dibango, Khaled, Idir, Geoffrey Oryema, Ismaël Lo, Amadou and Myriam.
Don’t talk to them about Mbalax but about Notes Métisses!
Listening to their brand new single “SUNUGAL” paying homage to Senegal, the country of their first smile, you would think you were in Ségou in Mali with the flexible and melodic presence of the guitar but also in the middle of Cayor in Senegal with high-pitched polyphonic voices and a very modern rhythmic accompaniment.
Between Return and Detour, they sing of the Other in his dialogue with the other. They also sing about Occitanie, their home region. 30 years of career without any wrinkles...
Yes, music rejuvenates, softens and rejuvenates the heart and body.
Adama Cissoko in concert
First part
The Voice of Fasso, the lion of the Desert: it was his grandmother Djeli Sita who gave him the love of music and singing.
The traditional instrument the Ngoni came to him through his many artistic encounters. Established for 25 years now in Provence, Adama Cissoko comes from the Mandingo griots of Burkina Fasso.
He opened for Salif Keita, Tidiane Seck and Omar Pene. His songs are of great spirituality and a call for African unity.
Accompanied by his Ngoni, it is a pleasure for him to meet his Senegalese brothers from Kunta Kinte at the Rouge Gorge for African acoustic walks...
